Ms. Juely

Gupta Bhandari (Destination Management Inc) was my tour organizer. A friend recommended him. He met me at Kathmandu airport and was involved in my whole stay in Nepal. The hotel in Kathmandu was lovely, the tea-house on my 11 days trek were basic, clean (I had my own room every night) and the food was great. My first day full day in Kathmandu was spent with a guide that had studied history. He took me to temples, Durbar Square and it was very interesting. Up early morning from then on. Flew to Lukla (45 minutes in a small plane) an airport on the side of a mountain – scary but exciting. I had guide – he took my heavy back- pack and the two of us travelled from village to village, up and down valleys, over gravel, rocks, boulders and swing bridges with the lots of people from all over the world plus cows, ponies and yaks

Gupta met us at the airport and then showed me around Thamel (shopping area) where the locals shop so busy and fascinating. Next day went by private car to Chitwan for a 2 days jungle tour. Hotel had a pool and very pretty gardens. We went to see a typical village, an elephant breeding center, canoeing, a jungle walk (saw rhinos in the wild), an elephant ride and helped wash the elephants in the river. We Back to Kathmandu for shopping, packing and then home. The trip was extremely well organized. Gupta was always in touch, came to Chitwan and took me to some typical Nepalese meals. I have no hesitation in recommending Gupta as an excellent tour organizer.
